Denominator Properties

The following properties determine how a denominator will be used:

• Name – denominator name
• Description – used to describe the denominator's purpose
• Units – the unit value of the denominator, if applicable
• ContextThe type of records that will be examined for reporting purposes, such as surveillance files, surgical procedures, central line insertions, etc. The values contained in other reporting drop-down lists change based upon the selected Context. - used to choose a module or specific RL6:Infection event. This will be used to filter the values of the subsequent fields
• Report On Field – the first level of the report file (usually Facility)
• Group Field – the second level of the report file (usually Location Unit)
• Sub Group Field – the third level of the report file (usually Birth Weight)
• Frequency – used to determine how frequently denominator info is obtained: Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly
